Message	you could always make up a bolt on section with 2 flanges for both sides of the exhaust that have super restrictive cats in or even 2 cats per side just for passing smog, and then once you have passed remove them and bolt on a straight pipe, bit of messing around but nothing your local exhaust shop cant manage :)
